Tonight at Ashton's softball practice there were a few girls left at the end of practice that wanted to stay longer. They were working on their batting skills. Ashton handed me her glove and I ran out into the outfield to retrieve any balls that came my way. At one point Ashton was pitching to Coach Miller. The coach's daughter and I were racing to see who could get to the balls first! A little extra exercise at the end of the day never hurts! Ashton and I continued our mother/daughter moment when we got home by taking some silly pictures of ourselves!

You'd better watch out or Ashton will have a "line drive hitting you in the eye" story like someone else we know! What is that picture in the back ground behind you Gwenda? Is it a family shot? The picture to the right of the temple?
It's fun to play softball with mommy!
You two are so cute! I love softball!
I can just see a big black eye coming Gwenda's way!
Ashton don't hurt those Mandolin pickin fingers, speaking of which, you are practicing, right?
