Clean feet

My friend Angie Shaffer and her family were in town this weekend and attended our church meetings this morning. During Relief Society her daughter Dalaney (age 2 1/2) was playing with Kaden. I had gotten out a baby wipe to clean Kaden's face after his cracker snack. Dalaney took the wipey, carefully unfolded it and began to also clean Kaden. She started with his hands and arms, but quickly moved to his feet. She really gave them a thorough cleaning! All of us on my side of the room were very entertained by Dalaney cleaning Kaden's feet! A couple different times Kaden got up and walked away, but Dalaney wasn't finished! She went after him, rubbing his feet with the wipey, causing him to fall down. Now he was in the perfect position for a real scrubbing of the bottoms! Kaden let out a few giggles, would get up, walk away, Dalaney would come after him again, and so it continued. Finally once Dalaney was satisfied that Kaden's feet were clean she took that same wipey and started working on his face! I couldn't help but laugh! Believe it or not, through all of this we were able to listen to, and participate in the lesson given on the importance of The Holy Bible. Good thing we women can multi task!

Kaden and Dalaney had a great time together! Wish I would have had my camera with me! We can't wait to see the Shaffers again the next time they're in town!

Dalaney was absolutely precious taking care of Caden! I just couldn't stop watching her with him. It's obvious she is going to be so nurturing. Her & Callah make a beautiful addition to the Shaffers. I am so happy for them.

Hey, she is just following the Savior's example, (blink, blink). it was so funny though, especially when she started to wipe his face afetr she was done with the feet. Good thing his feet weren't dirty. :)
