This first picture is my absolute favorite! (Dottie, I should get it blown up to see how well my new camera does with enlargements.)

Gotta love those water rides!
The six older children rode this ride time and time again while Kaden, Dale and I watched from the side, trying not to get wet!
Kenzie, Avery, Ashton and Bryson
A close second
This ride comes in at a close second as being my favorite. I think it's called the Tilt A Whirl. I was lovin' it! I could not control my laughter! Not the same for Bryson! Take a look at his facial expressions! (Click on the individual pictures to get a really good look.)

Kaden's first amusement park ride!
I LOVE THE TEA CUPS! This is my favorite ride! I just had to make it Kaden's first!
Kaden didn't cry, but he was glad when it was over. Actually, he didn't like any of the rides! I'm sure next year will be different.
Knoebels, here we come!
We left early Friday morning (August 24th) with camper in tow for a weekend at Knoebels Amusement Park in Elysburg, PA. It takes nearly three hours to get there. Not too bad, unless you have a toddler fussing the whole way there! Kaden did not want strapped in that car seat for three hours without a break!

Sludge
When the well drillers finished the job and left, there was one thing they didn't take with them -- the sludge. We now have a yard full of this yucky, muddy, clay-like substance that I call sludge. After two days of non-stop rain, the sludge is especially inviting to my children. They started by playing sludge ball, until someone got hurt, which is usually the case. Bryson then decided to form a sculpture from sludge. Needless to say, tonight I have extra laundry and everyone needed a bath. Good thing we have the water for both!

The Carroll County Ramblers travel to Tennessee
This weekend the Carroll County Ramblers played two different shows in Tennessee. Their first stop was Jonesborough, the oldest town in TN. Brady and Ashton went along with the band.

Who's my teacher?
This is the question my children have wanted answered for weeks now! Today we were finally able to find out.
Bryson was too comfortable in his pajamas to get dressed and go along with us. He knew he and Avery would have the same teacher, so Avery could look for the both of them. Kassie had already been told her homeroom number so she stayed home with Bryson and Kaden.

Family Picnic
Yesterday we gathered together at my brother Tim's house for a family picnic. Check out Nana's shades! We all got a kick out of them. She is wearing them because of her recent cataract surgery.
Repelling
This past Saturday morning Dale took Brady repelling with his Boy Scout troop. This is his second time doing it, and he loves it!
