The best ride in the park!

Brady prepares for the worst!
Standing on the observation deck is just as much fun! Here is Ashton with her arms folded and Kenzie just behind her.

It was a pleasant warm, sunny day, so it didn't take long for the children to dry out from their time on "The Sklooosh".
This ride was a blast!
When we got off, one ride operator called for the other one to, "Bring the kit!" Bryson had warned me he was going to be sick. I was laughing so hard at the time, I really didn't care! I told him to do it off the side of our car! It ended up on our seat instead!
As you'll see, Avery was with Kaden and I, and from the look on Avery's face you'll know it's not his favorite ride in the park!
Brady sat next to him most of the trip and did his best to keep Kaden quiet and occupied. We had snacks, drinks, pencil and paper (Kaden likes to scribble), Daddy's flashlight, finger puppets, etc. Kaden wasn't completely quiet until I offered him a lollipop!

The crowd gathers in front of the court house for that night's show.
That night the Carroll County Ramblers entertain the crowd.
Brady snaps a picture of Ashton and Aunt Bonnie in the hotel room. Ashton tells me she didn't sleep so well with Nan Nan screaming out several times through the night. They were laughing about it the next day! Brady slept in the other room with Dale and Frank. He didn't get much rest either because of Frank's constant snoring! Unlike Ashton, he wasn't laughing about it the next day!
Day two took them to the Carter Fold in Bristol, TN, home of the Carter Family, (the in-laws of Johnny Cash). Here the band plays while the audience clogs to the toe-tapping Bluegrass music.
I have to admit, I was jealous! I wanted to be there too. Sounded to me like they were having a blast -- a little sightseeing, free hotel rooms, meals out at restaurants and the best Bluegrass music ever! I used to travel everywhere with Dale and the band. My favorite trips were the ones to Oklahoma. Of course, all of that was BC, (before children). Dale says we'll have to work it out that I can go next year. I'll believe it when I see it!
Bryson was too comfortable in his pajamas to get dressed and go along with us. He knew he and Avery would have the same teacher, so Avery could look for the both of them. Kassie had already been told her homeroom number so she stayed home with Bryson and Kaden.
Our last stop was checking the lists at Alloway Creek, Ashton's school. We stayed and played on the playground afterward.
The hardest part? The climb back up!
Unknown to Dale, at one point Brady climbed back up without ropes, only using the natural hand and foot holds within the rock. Brother Barrington and his 18 year old son, Cody were the only other ones brave/daring/crazy/stupid enough to do this! Had Dale known what Brady was about to do, he wouldn't have allowed it!
