Knoebels water park 2009

I was so hoping Kaden would enjoy the kiddie water park this year. At six months, no. At 1 1/2 years, certainly not! At age three, I wanted him to love it, didn't happen. He checked it out. Took all of 15 minutes, then he was done. Maybe next year.

I didn't get many pictures at the water park. I just didn't feel like taking the time to get the perfect shot of them going down the tube slides, so I didn't even try!
Not only did the campground we stayed at have a pond and a lake, but also an awesome creek! Our campsite backed right up against it.
Tia (Dana's daughter) and Kenzie became fast friends!

Bryson and Kaden overlooking Lake Glory.I warned everyone when they started playing that Brady cheats, but they included him in the card game anyway. They found out I wasn't joking! LOL!Evan and Kaden became fast friends too!

Be sure to see the video of Mr. Toad from an earlier post!
We had a great time camping and enjoying the amusement and water parks with the Baughman's!
The kids enjoyed having someone to hang out with besides their siblings!
Thanks Angie for introducing us to Knoebels five years ago!

Knoebels trip 2009

We left last Sunday afternoon for Lake Glory Campground. The Baughman's arrived shortly after we did. We had campsites right next to each other. That night we set up camp, the girls wrote a love poem, the boys built a fire and we planned for the next day.

The next morning Dale and I were up by 6:30 to go for a brisk walk while everyone else remained asleep. Once back it was time to shower, eat and hit the amusement park!

The girls went off in one direction, the boys in another. Dale and I took Kaden to the kiddie rides. This would be his first time to truly enjoy the rides. He was only 5 or 6 months the first time we took him, second time he was 1 1/2 years. At age 3 he knew more about what was happening. Each time he got off one ride he would say, "I want to get on another ride!" He loved it!

Kassie may not be ready to drive, but Kaden sure is!

Once in a while we would run into Greg and Dana. They had Dana's son Evan over by the kiddie rides too.

Kaden and I on one of my favorite rides -- The Teacups!!

I was holding Kaden while we waited in line for the Tilt a Whirl. In that 10 minutes time he fell asleep! During the ride he rested against my lap the whole time. I still enjoyed the ride!

Kaden asked me to photograph his tattoo!

If you really want wet, you stand on the deck after your turn and wait for the next boat to soak you!
Not sure why, but they seemed to love the Rockin' Tug. Ashton, Kenzie, Kaden and Dana's two children rode it over and over again. At one point the ride operator told them just to stay on!

At one point Greg had Kaden and Evan at the Kiddie rides. Here they are meeting back up with us again. Thought this picture was cute!

Fun in the camper!

Kaden overlooks Lake Glory during our Wednesday morning walk back at the campground.
"Swany" lived on a smaller pond right near our campsite.
Swany is one beautiful ugly duckling!
More pics coming of our day at the water park!
