Zucchini

My father emailed me earlier last week and asked if I would like some zucchini. He and Mom would be coming by our way Saturday morning and could drop some off. I certainly wasn't expecting this large box full!Dale had asked me earlier in the summer if I wanted him to plant any zucchini. I told him, "No, we'll probably get some from Mom and Dad." It's a good thing we didn't plant any of our own!

Soon after Mom and Dad left I headed for the kitchen.

Hours later we had two chocolate zucchini cakes, (one for us, one for the upcoming Eyler Family reunion) and five zucchini breads of various sizes. Well, that took care of ONE zucchini, what do I do with the other NINE?

I miss getting my zucchini kickbacks! I had to BUY my zucchini the other day and they are nowhere near the size that you gave me. Enjoy! Next year I hope to have a garden and I will have zucchini growing out of my ears too. I hope to anyway, I have heard many people say they can't get it to grow out here :-(

Zucchini Relish! You must make some zucchini relish! I miss that relish so much. Seeing the tasty treats make me want to find someone in the ward with excess zucchini!

Gwenda, aren't you required to give a chocolate zuchinni bread to everyone in your RS presidency? I'm sure I read that in the manual???
