For the love of Bluegrass

It's usually sometime between 8:30 pm and 9:00 pm when Dale is done for the day. After we get the children in bed, he settles down in front of the TV with a bowl of cereal and the remote control. Once the bowl is empty and his belly is full it's only a matter of minutes before Dale's asleep, no matter how good the show. Well, not last night! Frank, (the Banjo player for Dale's family's band, the Carroll County Ramblers) gave Dale some old recordings on DVDs of his favorite musicians playing Bluegrass music. Dale was glued to the set, bright eyed and awake enough to watch all night! I know I told him to turn down the volume at least twice. Was I expected to sleep with Banjo music blaring from the living room?
Is that Lester Flatt?

With his belly full of cereal, a comfortable seat and a remote in each hand, Dale was set for a late night of Bluegrass music!

Hey Dale,
THe next time you're going to have a bluegrass session on tv or elsewhere you need to call my son. He loves it. I think he likes it because he always listens to the radio at night when he goes to sleep. On Sunday nights the country channel he normally listens to plays bluegrass. Sunday night is the only night he gets a a chance to hear it though. When I told him you had your own albums he thought that was amazing. You have your own groupie Dale!!

cute pictures! I love bluegrass...I don't "officially" listen to it, but I enjoy hearing it whenever it's on! Hope you're having a great summer!
