I think my love for Food Lion started when Dottie kept telling me about all the deals she was getting from her Food Lion in North Carolina. Once I realized there was a Food Lion in Taneytown, Maryland, I was making trips there once a week. While in Taneytown I would also stop at the library and Rescue Mission. Now they have re-opened a Food Lion store in McSherrystown! I love it! I'm there first thing Wednesday morning when the new ad comes out! I receive their emails by 7 am Wednesday morning. I'm then able to make my shopping list directly from their ad. Next I print out my store coupons and shopping list and I'm good to go!
Last week there was a Buy-One-Get-One on VanCamp's Pork-n-Beans without a limit. As it turned out, that was a mistake! They honored it for me anyway! I ended up with four free cans of pork-n-beans! Dale has always told me that I earn money for the family by saving money. With those beans alone I earned $2.36! WHOO HOO!
