Six Out of Seven, Down For the Count!

I don't know what we have, but we got it good! Kassie is the only one who went to school today. Yesterday Avery, Bryson and Kenzie stayed home from school. Ashton and Brady went, but came home sick! I half expect Kassie to come off the bus later today with the same symptoms. Brady, Ashton, Avery and Bryson all have sore throats, headaches and fever. Kenzie and Kaden have cold like symptoms with red, pasty, crusty eyes. Now this morning it looks as though they are exchanging symptoms. Avery is standing next to me picking his eyes and doesn't understand why I'm telling him to go wash his hands! Here's Kaden removing the crust from his eyes and nose.

Even with most of the crust removed, Kaden still looks miserable! I'm miserable too, from lack of sleep! I was up Tuesday morning at 2:30 am making Bryson a bowl of warm oatmeal to help sooth his sore throat. This morning at 3 am he was sipping on hot peach herbal drink. I won't mention the unpleasant things that were happening during the night. I'll spare you that! We're all worried about Dale getting sick since he has to sing and play music this Saturday night. Dale's worried about me getting sick because... well, because if I'm sick, who's going to take care of everyone else?

I believe we've helped each other get sick through our phone conversations! So far Kodi wins highest fever award here 102, Kaylie wins most vomit award with 2
vomits! Happy days. I guess you win least amount of sleep award, with me in close second. I got to sleep from 1am until 5:30am this morning! Here's hoping to a miraculous recovery. This is a week of miracles is it not? :-)
