With the constant sadness of my mother's impending death hanging over me, I have been looking for reasons to smile. Here are a few:
So many times when Kassie lays down on the couch, Kaden crawls up and lays on her tushy. He'll lay there and watch television. On this day he fell asleep -- the most comfortable place in the house -- a gushy tushy pillow!
I received this belated Mother's Day gift from Kassie. As a child/youth I collected lions. They are my favorite animal, and I still have a soft spot for them. Kassie made this puzzle for me in her Graphic Arts class. I absolutely love it!! It wasn't easy putting together, even at only 60 pieces!
Ashton had another ball game today. She did not pitch, but did get to play infield at second base. Coach told her she would pitch the next game. We'll see. She caught one line drive. Unfortunately, she hit two fly balls that were both caught. Her team lost, but Ashton played hard the whole game and didn't get down on herself. I was glad for that!
