Three on the Third

I can't believe my baby is three!! Kaden often will say something that I want to remember, but because my mind is a sieve, I usually forget! The other day I at least remembered to write it down! I was having a low moment in time, and was crying.

Kaden came to me and said, "Mom, you're cryin'. You got cryin' things running down your face." He then gave me a kiss. His sweet gesture only made me cry more, so he asked, "Do you need another kiss?" I accepted another kiss, but was still crying. Kaden made another suggestion, "Maybe you should get a drink of water." I took his advice, to which he replied,
"There! You're better now!"

I was feeling better, but not quite done with the tears so Kaden then said, "Mom, you should say a prayer, that will make you be good!" What a sweetheart! I'm so blessed to have Kaden in my life!

This picture was taken the other day after he had gotten a hold of the gloves Dale uses when tending to the coal stove. Since Ashton was suppose to be watching him, she was the one who also had to clean him up!

Last night I was holding Kaden on my lap while watching TV. He looked up at me and said, "Mom, you my partner. You my best friend." I'll remind him of that when he's a teenager!

This evening when everyone is home, we'll have our little birthday party for Kaden. I'll be sure to blog about that later!
