This past Friday afternoon we were invited to my neighbor's house to dine on Peruvian cuisine. It was fantastic! I loved every bite! Maria, shown in this first picture, was the chef along with her mother and good friend.
Maria recently moved to Virginia with her family. Our ward family misses them dearly!
Viviane was the hostess. She and her family are moving next month to AZ. It's so sad to see all these good families moving away! Viviane is such an awesome neighbor!
Maria gets ready to show us the two different meals and how to arrange them on your plate. Viviane is working on writing down the recipes and making copies for everyone. I can't wait to find out how Maria made that onion salad. It was delicious, as was all the food! The only down fall of me making these foods at home is, I might be the only one eating it! Dale can't handle the onions and spices! Ashton would eat it, and maybe Brady. The rest of my family may need their tongues scraped! (My favorite saying of Pap Pap Eyler!)

I wish I could have tried the food!
I didn't know the Bassetts are moving! Will I get to see them when we come for a visit?
That looks like such a great time, I'll have to see if we have someone in our ward who could do something like this for Relief Society!
Oh, I'm so bummed, I missed this, I had way too much going on! :)
Great food, great friends!
So sad I couldn't go.....
