This year the first day of school happened to fall on my birthday, August 29th. (Happy birthday to me!) Kassie not only started high school, 9th grade, but also Seminary! She leaves the house at 5:30 am! Seminary is being taught by Pat Thompson at her home in Hanover. Class is from 5:45 am until 6:30 am. What a great way to start the day -- learning about the gospel of Jesus Christ! Kassie and Brady (7th grade) get on the bus around 7 am and arrive home just before 3 pm. Ashton is in 5th grade, Avery and Bryson 3rd and Kenzie 2nd. They get on the bus at 8:20 am and get home around 4 pm. I love the Littlestown Area School District, even though the teachers STILL don't have a contract!
On this day, Kaden and I met Dale for lunch at the mall. While waiting for Daddy, Kaden played on the "caws".
Then it was on to Jerry and Sal's for my birthday lunch!
My birthday wouldn't be complete without my package from Dottie! It was filled with scrapbooking fun! I LOVE the paper, (the wrapping paper as well as the scrapbooking paper inside)!
I received money from my parents and Dale's mother. A friend from church, Tami gave me the plant, and the scarecrow is from my sister-in-law Bonnie. Thanks again everyone!

The first day of school pictures are so nice! Your zoom feature is really great to get that shot of the kids getting on the bus so clear! Nice birthday lunch, I miss Jerry and Sals!
