My Little Shoveler

We had a smaller snow fall in January. Kaden asked to go outside, so I got him suited up. Next thing I know he's at the front door shoveling the steps and sidewalk without being told!

Last year Avery played basketball and LOVED it! So, this year Bryson also decided to play. I didn't realize when I signed them up that there were games on Sundays. I spoke with the organizer about it and he told me to write "Saturday" next to their names, which I did. This would assure they would be put on a Saturday team. Well, much to my dismay, they were put on a Sunday team. I had to have them switched after the teams had already been picked! Then as it turned out, their new team plays both Saturday and Sunday games! UGH! I sinfully allowed the boys to play a couple Sunday games when it didn't interfere with church attendance. Now that we have church in the afternoons, starting in January, they can't make any of the Sunday games. Oh well, the practices are more fun anyway! Bryson (#11)

Pappy opens the scrapbook I made for him. He had asked me to take pictures of different things during Mom's viewing and funeral. I decided to put them altogether in scrapbook form to keep them organized for him.

I just love this adorable manger scene made by my equally adorable nephew, Mitch! I'm afraid my photographs don't do it justice.
I just have to have one! I have started a small collection of manger scenes and this just has to be part of it! I love the simplicity! This will definitely be my craft project for Christmas 2010!
