Reaching my goal -- an early Christmas present to myself!

After the birth of my seventh child, I had 75 pounds to loose! (No, I did not gain all of that through the pregnancy, but most of it.) It has taken me twenty months to reach my goal, but I DID IT! Now that I'm back into my favorite pair of Levi's, my goals have changed. My new goals are to continue to eat right and exercise in order to maintain my weight loss.

Kaden's first Christmas gift he could open himself

Kaden received an early Christmas present from Sister Neidererr. We decided not to wait until Christmas day to have him open it. This would be the first time he opened his own gift! It gave us a little preview of what Christmas morning will be like!
It was a beautiful set of Christmas board books!
Kaden loves books and slept with three of them that night!

Too old for Santa

Apparently most of my children now feel as though they are beyond sitting on Santa's lap. I should have known this day would come, I just didn't expect it so soon! Only Avery, Kenzie and Kaden were willing to sit on Santa's lap when he appeared at our ward Christmas party last Friday night. Last year they all took their turn.

Kaden was not a bit afraid to approach "Ho Ho" and sit on his lap.

Happy Birthday, Brady!

Today Brady turned 13 years old on the 13th day of December! He asked for his usual birthday meal -- pizza and cherry crumb cake, so that's what he got!
We got him an under armor shirt and the third Pirates of the Caribbean on 2 disc set.
The best part about today was getting to give Brady THIRTEEN kisses! We spoke to Nan Nan over the phone, and she asked me to give him thirteen kisses from her as well! YUM!
